The WEATHER CONTINUEs

Slight SNOW ....but Rather "BALTIC" .. at 18.00hrs the Temp inside the GARAGE was -0.2c

With the Operation Christmas Child shut till 10th Jan .... more chance to do other things
.. but quiet TODAY

Sorry for the Break in Updates earlier in the week

This was due to amount of time soent with Operation Christmas Child and problem with netbook
Goron has been involved with trip to TAIN and ELGIN (round trip some 550 miles from 08.00 to 24.00)

The next day WE did a trip up to DUNDEE and Perth
and then the trip to Perth Royal Infirmary on Friday  ... the last COLLECTION of the YEAR

On the Thursday we dispatched some 1000 CARTONS and some 9,500 to 10,000 SHOE BOXES

Warehouse now closed until 10th January 2011

IMPROVED WEATHER ( sort of !!!! )

Managed to use the Car ...even got to the Lennoxtown WAREHOUSE

and then to Trannent ... Dunfermline...Falkirk ...Menstrie

The BIG FREEZE is PERHAPS abating

Quite a lot of the Snow is Melted ... But in Town Centre and Eaglerise ...still a LOT of ICE

Work is largely on HOLD for the time being ...............

Now the BIG THAW .... at least for a short while

Still seemed quite cold and perhaps signs of FREEZING FOG ....don't know which way it will go NEXT

Just when you think it's OVER ................................ The SNOW Started in C'nauld at about 07.00 hrs

What next ...................... managed round by CAR to the "BRANCH OFFICE"

Might have to set off soon to get back to HOME BASE before SNOWED OUT

Managed to get home about 09.00hrs JUST ....By 12.00hrs about 6 inches of "NEW SNOW"
and the whole of C'Nauld seemed to be GRID-LOCKED ... BUSES...Abandoned Cars...Overturned Lorries

Managed out of the DRIVEWAY .... 2 days in a ROW

... even got to a CONCERT in KBC last Night

Managed to clear the ICE WALL

So potentially might be able to escape to KIRKIE for tonight's CONCERT

So might be able to get back to WORK ....... Boring CAR round to THe WESTERWOOD OFFICE

Stranded by 600mm ICE WALL

Having to walk out again to the "BRANCH OFFICE"....

Little chance to get much work done.....................................HAVE to CRACK the "ICE WALL"


.........................Seem to have CRACKED IT .... so might be MOBILE AGAIN SOON

SURVIVAL MODE

Trapped by 600mm {2 ft } wall of ICE preventing access to KINGS Drive

At least 600mm  of Snow on the ROOF and on the GOLF COURSE on way to the "BRANCH OFFICE"

So not much PROGRESS on any front .... walk out to the WESTERWOOD and Later to TESCO main PRIORITY today

SNOWED IN

a) Monday could not get out of Driveway
b) Tuesday ...... half way along Kings Drive
c) Wednesday ... stuck on DRIVEWAY again .... 2ft of SNOW ....{ 600mm }

Had to WALK OUT  TO the "WESTERWOOD BRANCH".... do a bit there ... then the Return TREK on the 18th Hole

Morning from a SNOWY .... Eaglerise

At least today I got the Car onto King's Drive ... but only half way along before deciding to REVERSE BACK to the SAFETY of the GARAGE

So perhaps once I return from the Comforts of the WESTERWOOD HOTEL... I will try to upload a few more fotos

Still at Westeerwood ........... now almost 10.00 .... moving on A Decaf Latte ... before the WALK Home

But there is no problem EXISTING in this STATUS and start FUND-Raising

setting up of  ..... The CATHERINE LOGAN Foundation

The LAUNCH date is scheduled to OFFICIALLY 23rd Nov 2010  { Kate's Birthday }
although the REAL official launch will technically have to wait for full OSCR approval and generation
of the " SCO Charity Number ".... this may take something like 3 months or more
